Hi, I am relatively new to MYDMX, but am having decent success getting it to do things. I have a mixture of LED lights and plain old boring par 56s. The can get the Fx generator to do some cool things with the LEDs, but the only thing I can get the Fx generator to do with the traditional pars is dim them to a set single level. The other parameters do not appear to have any affect. I am only basing this on the 3D visualizer as I have not hooked up all of my lights to MYDMX yet. What I would like the Fx generator to do is do something like randomly turn the pars on and off or chase. Can it do that or is that wishful thinking? I know that I can do it manually, but I thought the Fx generator would be able to do something like that more easily. What do the other parameters like Amplitude, Ratio , Phase and Offset do?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
