Easy Remote not finding MyDMX

Ok then....

So, I went back to basics...

Clean install of Windows 7 Pro 64bit (Fully patched/updated)
Clean install of MyDMX 2.0
Clean install of EasyRemote onto my iPad..

Yet still, it does not see or connect.

I've checked firewall settings on the Windows machine. Even turned it off, but still no joy.

The 'Learn Easyremote' setting is always grayed out in MyDMX...

BOTH can connect to the internet wireless through my home router...

Anyone have any thoughts/troubleshooting tips on getting these to talk ?

Ok,

So more time and a solution....

I gave up trying to use the home Router and took things as simple as possible....

I bought a super cheap Router with WiFi and voila ! - no problem every time it connects....

Although technically, there should have been no reason why the other router would work as all devices can see each other and get to the internet.. Using a stand-alone cheap WiFi device with a different IP range for the DHCP leases and locking it down to MAC addresses for connections worked absolutely fine.

Just incase anyone else is having problems...
