O.K. all 15 of my LED 64 work with MyDMX. I also added 2 Vue 4.1 with no problems. However, when I connect my new 2 Dynasty scans they don't work hardly at all. I tested both dynasties using my hardware DMX controller and they work great. I also tried connecting just the 2 dynasty scans up directly to MyDMX and created a new show with only those lights in the profile and I get very VERY poor response, almost non existant. I then can reconnect the lights to another hardware controller and they work great. Both controllers work with my LED 64 and all the lights work with my hardware controller, Dynasty scans just act as if they are not compatible with MyDMX(impossible), which I realize is DMX-512 and I was under the assupmtion that DMX-512 is DMX-512. WHY? PLEASE? How is this possible? Can someone please help.

O.K. , I will be more specific. Let's say I have 1 light. An ADJ Dynasty scan. I have 1 6 foot DMX cable. I plug the DMX cable from my dongle to my light. I start MyDMX and try to control my dynasty scan. For whatever reason there is atleast a 3 second delay from the time I move my slider till the time the light responds. I have added a terminator and it doesn't help. I have tried readdressing the light and using on a different channel. No Luck. I can plug this same light into my hardware controller and it operates just fine. I have already had to send back one dongle. I don't think this one is bad because I can control my LED par cans and my vue 4.1 with it. I just find it very odd that the dynasty scans don't work with MyDMX, when they work on a different controller in the same room using the same cables.
I have tried several different cables . The one i'm looking at right now says. "DMX 120ohm Digital Signal Cable" right on the insulation. I just bought these lights yesterday at Guitar Center. They are going to get upset with me because this is the third set of lights that I have exchanged with them. They all work fine with my hardware controller, thats the wierd thing. MyDMX seems to be outputting a signal that all my other lights can respond to with no problem . It's just these lights, with this controller. I would just say screw it and give up and return the lights, but Guitar Center wants to charge me a restocking fee to do that. I have spent alot of money between my LED PAr cans , MyDMX , etc. and I have never had more stress with a product in my life. I have been using DMX512 lighting for over ten years and my friends have always come to me for help in this department. Ever since owning MyDMX, I havn't even been able to help myself.

Please reverse my opinion, I've been very patient with this product because, when it does work, I love it. Oh, by the way. I did test the dynasty scans on both my laptop and my desktop, one running Vista and the Other XP and I had the same response with both.

This product was supposed to make my lighting look more professional and so far I have been embarrassd at two seperate events. It makes me look bad and hurts my reputation.

Have you tried a DMX Splitter? USB dongles sometimes don't throw as strong a signal as hardware controllers do. Don't really know the reasoning behind it, but it happens. The splitter will boost the DMX signal. Since you are also running so many fixtures too, it might help save cabling wise as well.
I would hate to think that American DJ would sell something at a "consumer" level that would require any extra hardware. I could see if I was trying to use long runs or lots of lights, but I can't even get these things to respond properly when they are hooked up by themselves with no other lights attached using a very short DMX 120 ohm digital cable. Maybe these lights require a stronger signal than the USB dongle sends out, but that really makes no sense why they would design something like that.
I see they have a promo , if you buy 2 x-scan , you get free MYDMX, I bet they don't need a splitter. Anyone else?
