guys at american dj whats the deal with the dura truss clamps... i've been getting the run around for 8 months now about how the clamps for the dura truss are going to be available in the next 30 days. I'd appreciate it if someone would be honest with me about this, cause i've obviously been getting lied to.

I understand this is not a bashing area which is why i'll refrain from stating other issues that i've recently experienced with your staff lately, I used to be very impressed with the support and sales guys , I dont know what happened over there but when your customers know more about your companies products then your employees do somethings wrong.

I don't necessarily thing it's a bad thing if clients know more than the company does in regards to such a diverse product line. It's not really possible to know everything about everything, and let's face it, sales guys are sales guys, and they aren't always technical. Technical guys aren't sales guys and their focus on knowledge can distract from doing sales as well. I'm a techie, and I hate sales. But I also don't work for ADJ either, nor do I do retail or end user sales for anything other than data communications products. Clients experiences certainly can easily outweigh and be more varied than that of a company that makes such products.

Still, it would be nice if ADJ would have a more active presence in their forum. I would see it being a very cost effective method of supporting their products.

MadMickey lefts a pretty self explanatory posting title that should have snagged attention of support and/or sales.

Just saying...
I just checked them out. I was hoping it would be something like the O-Clamps so it would be non-marking/marring. As such, I expected a higher price.

Seems a let-down to me. Looks like you're better off with standard clamps from any brand, including ADJ.

Well, use the saved money and spend it on safety cables. And if you're not saving money on clamps, STILL spend the money on safety cables.
