Driving DJ Scan 250s with MIDI

I need help with a problem! We play a lot of re-vamped dance music and we keep a midi sequence to drive 4 DJ Scan 250s with the music. I'm using a LSC DMX Operator to connect to 4 daisy-chained Scan 250s and dedicate a separate midi port and channel (10) for the data. When we play back the sequence the lights seem to intemittently get confused between note-on and note-off data. For example, one song may play back perfectly one time, but the next time what was being seen as midi-note on data is now being seen as midi-note off data! In other words, instead of triggering a bank/scene on it turns it off and vice-versa. Any help / insight would really be appreciated! Thanks, Keith

i run djscan250s, and i noticed when i run any chases that i programed on the faster speeds, they jam up, the djscans couldnt keep up (with my mightyscans) i havent used the midi before but it might be the same problem, do they only get like that during fast pased songs or does it not matter?
