One dimmer pack will need dip switch 1 ON. The other dimmer pack will need to have dip switches 1 & 3 ON. These reflect the values of the starting channels for the dimmers.

Normal DMX addressing is as follows;

The dip switches read: 1-2-3-4 -5 -6 - 7 - 8 - 9
Their DMX values are: 1-2-4-8-16-32-64-128-256

The sum of the DMX values selected equals the starting channel for that particular fixture/dimmer.

So, your first dimmer needs a starting channel of 1, so dip switch 1 is turned ON and the rest stay off. (This dimmer is channels 1-4)

The second dimmer needs a starting channel of 5, so dip switches 1 & 3 are turned ON and the rest stay off. (This dimmer uses channels 5-8)

Hope this helps.

Best,
-Tech
