If I bought the American DJ WiFLY RGBW8C Lighting Controller and bought one - American DJ WiFLY Transceiver Lighting Controller - would the DOTZ Tpar that is connected to the Transceiver be able to control a second DOTZ Tpar via the SLAVE Mode?
I found out the Remote control that came with the DOTZ Tpar is able to control both lights when the second Tpar is on the SLAVE MODE. Would this also be true with the wireless system or would I have to purchase two separate WiFly Transceivers for the two DOTZ Tpar lights?

You are asking for dmx and master and slave mode. That's not possible. Now the bar receiving the dmx signal from the 8C, all you need is a dmx cable going out of the one receiving into the next one you wanted as a slave and just use the same dmx address on the 2nd unit. Make sense? It's like using two fixtures on a dmx controller but putting both on the same channel so they both respond to the same channel range. Make sense?
Thank you James for responding. In helping me to clarify your answer - when using the WiFly RGMW8C lighting controller I would need to buy two WiFly transceivers for the two DOTZ Tpar lights?
The SLAVE MODE on one of the DOTZ Tpar lights will not work with the wireless system even though they can both be controlled by one of the Remote controllers?
I deleted your "reply with a quote" second post, that was an exact copy of the one I am responding to you right now, please do NOT post duplicates in effort to "bump" the post or to get an answer faster, for every reply you make i get a email for, so all you are really doing is flooding my inbox. For any Wifly set up, you will need 1x to transmit the signal, and 1x to receive the signal. for 2x DOTZ T-Par systems and to be FULLY DMX cable free, you will need a 2nd WiFLY transceiver to receive DMX signal to the 2nd DOTz T-Par system, otherwise the RGBW8C Wifly has the ability to send DMX to the transceiver on the first DOTX T-Par system, then you can just use a DMX cable going OUT from the first DOTZ T-PAr system to the 2nd one.
When using WIFLY RGBW8C, there is NO "SLAVE" mode, as you are now using DMX and MAster/Slave do not work with DMX. there are two entirely different functions.
Does that make sense?
Thanks again Jingles for the information and the "how to" forum concepts.
Yes, I understand the difference between using DMX and disabling the ability to use the SLAVE option on a second Tpar light. QUESTION: if I ran a DMX cable to the second Tpar light - I should be able to control both lights at the same time is this correct? 1) keeping both units on the same address number: 001 2) having the same RC channel
Is this correct too?
