When i plug in the dongle the power (red) light comes on and so does the USB (green) light. When i open the program it goes straight into Demo mode. Computer doesn't recongnize USB. Any suggestions.

Ya. Give me more details please. Are you on a windows XP vista? 7? 32 bit? 64 bit? did you try reinstalling the drivers/program?

running windows xp. 32 bit. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the new release and the one prior. I even went into the device manager and uninstalled the device and added new hardware with no luck. when we plug in the dongle it goes straight to the USB light without the program running. After reading some comments we don't have a terminator on the last fixture will this over time short out the dongle. We have had the lights blink and lock up over the last month. even shut down with an error and have to restart the computer.
the USB light should be off when it is plugged in and the program not running. About the terminator not being used. It is possible. but i have never heard of that happening. Was there any sort of power issue at all? I would say cal our service dept. tell them you spoke with me on the forums and send the interface in for servicing,
