I want to organize my music (Add Tags, comments, ect..) But it says I need to have the device connects? Is this true?
I would like to work on my music on the road before I get to my gigs..with out plugging it in.

If you are using VDJ LE, then, yes you have to have the controller plugged in for the software to start.
It is one of the restrictions of the LE console version. The controller does not need to be plugged in if you upgrade to VDJ Pro.

Cool.. I do have the VDJ LE... Is going into the configuration also a restriction of the LE version?
Hi - just a suggestion. I use itunes to name/tag all my tunes - it will also file it if you want it to but can use your own structure if you so choose. Also you can make all your playlists up in advance and access them from VDJ and there is no problem needing the VMS4 connected. Note that itunes won't play when the VMS4 is plugged in it will allow you to update playlists during the eveing if you want to add tracks permanantly etc.
Personally I am not an itunes fan with regard to their sales and licencing policies or their players, but the software is good for naming/taging/managing files etc and best of all it's FREE!!

There is no configuration in the LE version. I know it says that on the button, but it just takes you to an upgrade option.
I've told Atomix that it's misleading but they don't care!
Anyway - for tagging your songs I would recommend Tag&Rename. Very good software and very popular with DJs.
