Hmm... I saw that... I was wondering where I could find something lower than 300 bucks.....

is it possible to run DMX cable from the end of one run to the begining of the other? that should cost less than 300

When you are working in a club you dont have the freedom to run just 1 big leed, and also, if you have more dmx feeds it reduces failuer possiblites....

Get the club to cover it? Split it with them? Try everything.

you can run over 2000 ft of DMX cable without a problem. just make sure you terminate properly

The official DMX specifications (as far as I have seen from ESTA) dictate a maximum official distance of 300m, roughly 1000ft.

DMX should ALWAYS be terminated, regardless of distance.

Anyways, the size of the lead has nothing to do here... I might be going to a different club each night and many have more than one dmx feed, which is both logical and good, IMHO, because it reduces your vulnerability when one feed has a problem...

Oh well, it looks like it will be VERY difficult to get a decent splitter for less than a fortune...

that was off the top of my head I mixed it with balanced audio signal. 2 things, 1-in most clubs you wont be near the 1000ft run even with the extra extension. 2- If you are doing more than one club, $300 should not break the bank. Check with an Elation dealer and you should find a lower price.
