Hi from the UK and new to this forum. Have a problem which l would appreciate any advice with. I hope that l can explain the issue correctly as l am new to lighting.
I have six Ekho Par 64 RGB LED cans - all connected via DMX cables to a Chavet Obey 40 Universal DMX-512 Controller.
The length from the Controller to Light 1 is about 15 metres, Light 1,2,3,4 (front of stage) are all with about three feet from each other. Lamp 5/6 (rear of stage) are about 10 metres from lamp 4. All the lights work fine, except Light 6.
Light 6 the last in the chain and blinks/flashes intermittently - l have changed cables (all DMX) and used a terminator. When using a terminator the whole system becomes erratic - flashing constantly, removing the terminator stops this but Light 6 continues to flash/blink. All the lights work with the Controller, in terms of colour selection etc, but light 6 flashes/blinks (i.e. does not produce a consistent light output).
All the lights are on the relevant channels and I have reset the Controller.
Any suggestions as to the cause and ideally a remedy?
