DMX Adress

Some lights you have to enter the values, some you don't. I'm thinking that's where the issue is.

ALSO, check to see if your fixture starts at channel 0 or 1. If you start at 0, add 1(in your head) and you're done. So, if the addressing WITHIN the fixture starts at 0, and you want 157, you need to set it to 156.

Also, for the time being, honestly, screw profiles. Just address the fixture directly without a profile. This is just to test things out for now. It saves a ton of time.

Also, ensure it's all hooked up before you start MyDMX:

Connect lights, power up lights, plug in lights to MyDMX hardware, plug in hardware to computer, then run MyDMX.

Another issue might be that your DIP switches are reversed: Off is on. My Chauvet Intimidator Colors are like that. Drives me nuts!

Also, power cycle after changing addresses with DIP switches(or any other DIP switch change) and ensure your DIP switch 10 is set properly for DMX mode.

Hi Chris,I got thinking it over and did a search and found a dmx calculator on line. I put in the dip switch postions and it gives me 081. So I'm thinking that's where I got messed up,I'll give it a shot tonight after work.

Ok I tried this tonight, hooked both of the movers up and made a test scene. Adress for the 1 mover was 001 and the other I set the same just to check, they were working,So I changed the other to 14 as per Mydmx. But that didn't work so I dropped it by 1 to 013 and they worked just fine.So I'll have to go by what you said Chris drop it by 1.

ok I made headway on adding the movers to my current setup, just all in the adressing.

Don't overlap address ranges and all should be well.

What it was my Par cans have dip switches and the movers do not, so what I found out the addressing is different as in it doesn't look like it does in Mydmx setup.
