so I decided to take 4 of my dj spot 250's and see how bright they really were. I placed them on a table in the second story of my house facing out a window that overlooks my front yard. I programmed about 20 scenes and wrote a chase using those scenes. I must say I was quite pleased with the brightness and overall effect they produced. I had 2 of them primarily scanning my front yard. and 2 scanning the sky. It was a very cool effect and since it's still snowing here you were able to see all the beams quite nicely. The fixtures are actually a bit brighter then I thought they would be. My neighbors all thought it was the coolest thing they've ever seen. Kid's that were playing in the snow (and adults) were all pointing and looking they all gave me the thumbs up. Anyway just my 2 watts....
