no way to accomplish what you want without running them through dmx. The built in programs are exactly what they say .. built in... and can not be altered. The only alterations that can be made are the reversal of pan and tilt however this will not change the "area" that is covered you will still end up with the same "wide" coverage just reversed.

what board are you using? cause if you were using a sd1 or 2 you might be able to limit your pan/tilt area (i think). but then you might still have to program them! but programming them is half the fun!!! if anything start with the basics of what you need as far as coverage and then just work up from there and before you know it you'll be done with it. jingles out!

Thanks for the feedback fellas. Unfortunately, all of the lighting gear stays in the trailer, so I only get to do programming during load-in and sound-check.

My board is an Operator Pro.

Change the mounting postion of the fixture. Try mounting the units vertically on the truss riser pole, angled 45 degrees toward the stage, or on the front leg of the tripod. The displays can face in any position. Warning: They will function as a crowd "blinder" is used too much. Also, preset them to "Audio" and "Master/Slave" and run them into a DMX Power Pack. The blackout on your controller will work, and they will run automatically to the beat of the music. Note that they will be slightly slow to respond when turning on (they have to reset first).
