God I hope These Dj Scans arent gonna be a nightmare like I have noticed on the boards. So Far So Good. I just bought 5 of them for my mobile company. For DMX Control Using Light Jockey and have been able to design some cool sequences and such. Gonna keep my fingers crossed lol. Also Was Wondering if anyone has purchased the Accu Spot 250 and if so how do they like em? and do they have dimming capabilites? I liked the promo vid for em thats for sure plus half the price of other moving head fixtures that i have checked out. Well look forward to hopefully a good relationship with AMDJ.

Steve,
I am sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the DJ Scans. If you were looking for a cost effective fixture, I think you would have been much better satisfied with the ScanTrons. Also did you get the original DJ scans, or the DJ Scan 250's. They made some minor improvements in the fixtures. But if I may ask. If you spent $1000+ on light jockey, why would you buy low end fixtures. You would have ultimately been better off with 2 Concept 2's over 5 DJ scans for around the same price. The concept fixtures are easily comparable with the MX series intels. Plus they have a nifty laser Big Grin
The Club I have been Dj'ing at runs around 70 fixtures on light jockey. I have been using the program for 3 years so to use anything else at this point would be a waste of time. The reason I am looking for cost effective lights right now is because eventually will replace with all ****** lighting and use the others for outdoor events, but for right now thats not in the budget. I have settled on the novascans for now, but will try american dj's accu spot when it hits the market, havent quite given up on em yet Wink
Steve,
The Nova's are really nice fixtures for the price, but keep ADJ in mind when you want to upgrade. The Concept 2's compare favoralby to the MX-4's, or you can even go up from there and look into some Elation products. Elation and American DJ are part of the same company, and there aren't too many steps above the Elation brand. They are pretty much in the same category as HEL.
