DJ Scan gobos?!

I have two of these lights now, and they're superb, but on the 4 U shaped gobo, there are all these dots of light around on side, like maybe the gobo broke or something, I dunno. Its not too noticeable, because nobody has said anything to me. Also, I saw the colorwheel on the parts site, and its a full circle, can the color wheel constantly spin in a circle? Can the gobo wheel do the same?

well, you may be able to take off the cover of your unit to look at the wheel to see if it's busted. if so, you can probly get a new one. about constand rotation, the wheels on my RollerTrons have restrictors on them so that they stop at certain points, limiting continuos rotation. srry! hope this helps ya out!

I wont open the cover until the year warranty is over, because knowing my luck, the light will screw up and ADJ would say "TOO BAD YOU OPENED IT." The trons are different from the dj scan though. Support, do the color/gobo wheels rotate in either direction non-stop (or can i be programmed to do so), because I know for a fact that the color wheel is a full circle with no stopping things on it.

I HAVE TWO DJ SCANS. I HAVE RAN THEM SOUND ACTIVE AND ON A DMX CONTROLLER YOU CAN ONLY RUN THE COLOR WHEEL AND GOBO WHEEL CONTINUOS IN ONE DIRECTION. HOPE THAT HELPS!
