DJ Scan 250 HP

I bought these months ago and I've used them a couple of times because they are downright annoying! They are bright and that's what sold me but they dart all around like cheap lights. I am currently looking for different but cost effective scanners. I have my hopes on the Fusion Scan 250 EX. Who has these and do they have smooth motion that would mimic more expensive lights? (Like a SCX 600?)
