The lights work fine when I run them with less than 20 feet of cable in the daisy chain. When I get up to around 100 feet, they will occasionally do this. I do not have the signal terminated yet so I will be buying a terminator soon. Any other ideas as to why they might be acting up?

most likely is the signal getting messed up. a terminator should fix the problem

After browsing the forum, I thought of another thing that could also be causing the problem. Could running them off an old American DJ Light Station be another reason for the erratic movement?

my guess could be one of 2 things...

1. you mentioned needing a terminator

2. Using real high quality DMX 512 cable 110 ohm cable will help... I know many DJ's use XLR (mic) cables and this is fine for short runs but a better cable is good for long runs
