Dimmer pack addressing

Ok, I'm Having a brain freeze... I have 4 dmx dimmer packs (4 channel) for controlling the old conventional par cans and can't seem to remember the proper addresses... Is or 1, 5, 9 and 13? I'm getting other lights on that shouldn't be going on and lights off the shouldn't be going off... Using a simple 16 channel Elation DMX operator (A/B)

Right. If your dimmer packs are 4 channels each and you set them to a 4-channel mode, then the first one should be 1, the 2nd should be 5, the third should be 9 and the fourth should be 13.

I think you have some addresses set wrong. If you're using DIP switches, Elation has a nice DIP switch "calculator" that can help speed you through this.
