Hello everybody, I was thinking about getting a pair of Epsilon lights and then I saw the Vertipro 2's. I guess I'm looking for the pro's and cons of each light, and which one is better. Thanks! Jeff My Web Page
I have Ellipson it is linkable with any ADS series lights which is cool if you want to look organized. It also has no duty cycle. I really like the light and after a while its on you can use it as a space heater!! VP II is dmx if you want that. Also the VP II is discountined. But you probally can find one still.
P.S This is off the subject but I was looking at your site and saw you were adding 1000's just a suggest you may want to check out the American Audio PS2s. They are nothing less than the 1000's except the price. Just before you buy 1000's I suggest you give the PS2's a try.
Color Pods in multiples are always nice to add a bit of "fill" and movement to the lightshow. Color Pods are not DMX and if you find the right dealer, you can get 4 for a decent price. Simply turn the Color Pods on for short periods of time throughout the gig. Nothing beats the classic moonflower effect. I use these moonflowers in bursts here and there with my moving mirror scanners.
Oh- the Color Pods also add some flexibility. Wedding: set the switch on "static". School dance: set the switch on "sound active". Therefore, you are not stuck with an effect you can't use at certain gigs.(sorry about the double negative in the prior sentence - hopefully you get what I am saying there ).
