Hi, just shoot us an email. Support@adj.com if you are in the USA or outside of the USA email Support@adj.eu
hi im using a fire 10hd tablet with the mydmxgo app which I downloaded from the play store and I updated the go box with the latest firmware from the adj site using my MacBook Pro (big sur 11.5.2) and then had the box hoooked up to the MacBook via usb to access the go hardware manager.it recognised the box and the display on the box went to L1...on the tablet I selected the mydmxgo network then when I select the refresh in the go ap it either just hangs there with the red circling icon constantly or I get a timeout message or an error code 34 I have also noticed that when I select the go box network on my tablet the signal strength is full and its says connected but has an exclamation sign saying 'no internet'
on the hardware manager the settings are 'dual' and I select my home wifi network tho it does seem to constantly refresh itself.sometimes on the go app the adj go logo does come up tho not highlighted and if I select that it does nothing.
I was hoping due to the fact that my fixtures are currently set up in a location that has no wifi that Maybe I could bring home 1 example of each fixture in order for the app to 'load' the settings for each light at home using my home wifi and then hopefully once I go back to the location it would recognise the other like for like fixtures without having to take every single fixture home initially (not sure if that is possible??) anyway that is immaterial if I cant primarily get the app and box to work at home......thanks
Hi, when you are connected via USB to hardware manager and trying to change network settings, be sure to disconnect the GOs network from your tablet and even "forgetting" the network so it doesn't auto reconnect, and then try to make changes, that is probably why you got timed out errors, it cannot be connected then also make changes on the same Wi-Fi network that is already connected.
About it saying no internet, that is right, the GOs Wi-Fi isn't an internet connection, it is basically a on device Ad-hoc network, there is no internet but there is a network connection only for and between the GOs Wi-Fi and the tablet to run the app, make sense?
You can download as many profiles over the internet connection that you think you need just by patching them, and once patched you can delete them but they should still be downloaded to the device memory.
