Hi all,

We're doing a medium-sized nightclub with mostly ADJ gear, and I could use some advice on the scanners.

We originally chose the DJ Scan 250 but moved up wo the Deluxe Scan after learning the DJ Scan doesn't strobe. The Deluxe Scan looks like it does everything I need, but I have one question:

Can the Deluxe Scan pan slowly across the room, or does it just move as quickly as possible from point A to point B?

I came from 21 MX4s at my last rig and am looking for the same versatility, but without the exorbitant price tag.

BTW, the ADJ Rewards cinched the deal with going all-ADJ. 18,000 points in one purchase? VERY nice! Smiler

As long as you when you program your scenes you tell your fixtures to panslowly I dont see y it wouldnt do it. I havnt worked with the fixtures so I dont know if it they're movement is smooth when panning smooth....best thing to do is just play with em and see whatkinda effect you get! take pics! lets see 18000 pts divided by 300 per fixture...woooo 60 scanners!! Pics please!!! Best of luck. -AMP
Oh yes, you'd better believe I'm posting pics in here to show off! Right now renovations are just starting, so it's about a month off for the lights. Here's our lighting specs:

26 Concept Color (7800)
24 Deluxe Scan (7200)
4 AccuSpot (3200)
57 PAR36 1001ETL (1425)
All under the watchful eye of ****** LJ ... I'm just not a Compu-Club believer.

Anyway ... 19,625 points. My off-the-cuff math isn't that good. Smiler

I initially had my doubts about ADJ lighting (other than an Avenger which has been going strong since the mid-90s), but the advice of my installer + my not-so-great experiences with ****** made me take a look. The Rewards program cinched the deal. So as long as my Deluxe Scans don't need reset every 30 minutes like my MX4s did, I'll be happy!
