Welcome to the December 2010 Profile Request thread. Please keep on-topic.

A few reminder rules:

1: When making a request, please state the make and model of the fixture.

2: Please post a link to the manual or a photo of the DMX traits or post the DMX traits. Please, English versions preferred.

3: If posting traits, please be as complete as possible.

4: Please be patient. It's best to make sure you're not under a deadline, like "I need it in 2 hours" for example. Please allow a bit of time. A couple of days is reasonable.

5: Please check the updated scan library link on the my dmx product page for your fixtures before requesting profiles. Or join my shared drop box folder. http://db.tt/6q9QkL The link for profiles on the my dmx product page can be found at the bottom of every one of my post.

Also let me add that if someone else get's their profile before you but you posted your request before them please do not be offended as some profiles take more time than others
Thanks and have fun.

Hey Jingles thanks for the profiles. They work perfectly! Now I have another probably simple one for you. The guy financing the club just bought 3 older club lights. 1-ADJ Tempest 250 msd, and 2 Tempest II's. Now I have looked at the sheets for both, and they are slightly different. My DMX only has one Tempest profile that I can find and it's only listed as "Tempest" so I'm not sure which one it is for.

Thanks,
Dallas
Showtec Typhoon HTI 150. Just got 8 of these from a venue closure. Unfortunately no manuals and neither can I find any info regarding DMX traits or where to find a manual on the net! All I do know about the fixtures is that they are a 6Ch head. Any one got a profile for them? Sorry for the lack of info but I can't find any!! Cheers, Mikey.
Newbie at my dmx. tried but no luck. Maybe next time i will call for an instructional lesson,

Also, is there a way to increase the width of the fader channels that appear at the bottom of the Setup and Editor screens? The text and graphic at the top of each fader channel is quite small.

Many thanks for your help and for providing this forum. It is quite a valuable resource.

Hi James, regarding the profile request for the Showtec Typhoon and using the 6ch dj spot....... The showtec is rotating gobo and I'm presuming the dj spot isn't? This is all I can find on the net about the Typhoon
"Showtec Typhoon 150w HQI
150w HTI lamp, 9 colours plus white, 7 gobos all rotating,
Pan 540°, tilt 280°.
6 channels of DMX required" They arrive tomorrow so I guess i'm pretty stuck at the moment!
