Hi folks, new to the site, it looks great, I was looking for some help, just purchased the American dj color burst led lights, and I wanted to daisy chain them together to reduce extension cords, the units have a power link output for this function, I just need to know if I can use this function without a controller, just using the sound to light feature, and where you can get the cords for this, the ones supplied won't fit with the male end of the power output, can you purchase cords that fit in the power output on the website, I looked and couldn't find them, or in a store. I'm new at the lighting so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

OK, well, I looked at the manual and it wasn't very forthcoming with information.

The cables you want are not exactly commonly available, but you do have to do a bit of looking. It is an IEC male to female cable and they can be readily ordered. They aren't that expensive, costing a little bit more than the typical cables you get with your computer. Any electronics supplier can get these, as well as most electronics stores that tend to carry cables and components, not the big box stores like Best Buy. Granted some of these electronic supply stores can be big boxes, but you have to think outside the "consumer/mall big box" type stores.

Just one word of warning and that is to not daisy chain more fixtures than the first fuse can handle.

Hope this helps.
