Cosmic issues

I got a cosmic from DJ Supply and man! is that thing loud. It squeaks when the motor turns. When the direction changes is makes a loud clack. I don't wanna send it in for service because I got a gig coming up. It was their display product they gave me(it has a few scratches)Oh and by the way, is there a way to change the type of colored dish on Rover. Please help!!!!!!!

Is the motor sqeaking? or the base?

The motor is. Would it be okay to use wd40 on the motor or would thet ruin it.

Hmm... depends where in the motor, you don't want to have sparks flying, and have smoke shooting out of it... You maybe could try using some light duty grease and put it in the right place, I don't know if it already has a self lubricating motor though. You could try looking for replacement motor if possible.

could have pyrotechnicics then.

Take it back to the dealer and ask them for something similar to it for a while until they get it fixed. (never buy any equipment that is already viewable

)
