Hey everyone! New to the board, but not so new to DMX lighting. I currently have 2 DJ Scans, 8 X-Treams, 4 Strobetec's, and 4 StarTec Arcbeams (Old technology, I know, gotta love it!). Anyway, I had a DMX controller, its old, and half the functions don't work, and I am going to add a lot of par cans with dimmer packs. Now, if I buy a dimmer to controll my par cans, can I hook-up my intel's to the dimmer too? Like my dimmer is a 48/96, and I'm only using 40 channels. For the last 8, can I hook up my DJ Scans, or any other intel to it, and have it work fine? I am questioning this because the board has all the sliders, and then an X/Y crossfader, and a master fader, so will these have to be up all the time when im using my scans? To sum up my question, can I use a dimmer controller with 3 pin, 5pin (etc) outputs to control my Intelligent lights?
