Computerized Stage Lighting

My DMX can be found between about $250-$300 street price with some searching. Really as far as the PC, anything Pentium 4 or newer with 2 GB of Ram will run this software like a raped banshee, just keep the PC clean of bloatware, and away from the internet, and it will be fine.

My DMX is available, but it's marketed to DJs for a reason. It's designed to keep things simple, and is short of a lot of features. there really isn't any development for MYDMX. You need to test some trial versions of different DMX programs and find the one that suits your needs the best for the price.

Up from My DMX there is a number of Elation suites that are good for stage applications. There is also Lumidesk, and Martin Light Jockey. I think most of these programs will need at least 2 gigs of ram and a 2ghz or higher processor.

The OP asked for reasonably priced, and if he is just using it for simple scenes, I don't see a problem. I like Elations Emulation personally.
