Color Pod 250 keeps shutting down

I've been trying to use a 8 plug rack, (PC100A? the one with on/off switches on the front for each of the 8 plugs in back) as a power supply to my DJ lights.The problem I've had, is that my Color Pod 250, as well as my Martin Mania EF2, will shut down, and not come back on. I have several lights plugged into the unit, an Avenger, couple Mini Aggressors, Cosmic etc. None of those seem to have a problem with being turned on and off with the switches on the power supply. However, every time I incorporate the Pod 250, it will work the first couple times I turn it on and off, then it'll quit for the night. The next day, it will always start right back up, as if there was never a problem.

I run all my other stuff (amps mixers cd players etc.) through a power conditioner. I'm afraid to plug the unit with the lights going to it, into the power conditioner, for fear that I'll pop the fuse on my whole show! Is a second power conditioner what I need?
