changing tracks & looping

Hi all,

I have a problem with changing tracks with my vms4 & vdj 7, previously I held down shift & used the sampler number to scroll up & down my tracks, once I found the track I wanted I held down & pressed the knob down & the track was transfered to the deck but this is not working now.

I have also just tried to use the looping function & that is not working eother.

any suggestions what i am doing wrong.
