Cant transfer .dlm files between PCs

Do the operating systems on separate PCs have to be exactly the same in order to swap dlm files between the two? Using mydmx1 on a windows 10 64bit laptop and i need the profiles on my pc which is a windows 7 32bit. The dlm file shows up in file explorer when I transfer via thumb drive but my scene wont show up when I attempt to open it on the older PC.
