Hey everyone, I'm new here, and came for help. I recently recieved some of my fathers old stuff (he passed away many years ago), and in the lot is this huge light / disco ball that lights up and spins. I have no idea what the name of it is, and that is what I'm wanting to know. The only markings I can find on it are on a sticker on the back which reads;

Model - CM-3010-M
serial - 059
type of bulb - 4405
American DJ supply co.

I typed in the model number on the site and nothing comes up, I'm sure its discontinued or something, But i'd like to know the name and all that of it. It has 3 seperate power cords/fuses, one for the lights, and the other two for each motor. The whole thing spins on the base, and then the ball itself spins, while the lights are constantly lit. It feels real heavy duty, and weighs quite a bit. The bulbs are big halogen ones in a few different colors.

I dont have a very good camera, but I took some pictures of it, incase they help in indentifying it.. Here they are;

If anyone needs pictures of something specific on it, I will do the best I can.

Thanks to anyone who helps,
-Jared

The lighting fixture you have is a second generation Cosmos Ball, which was the official name. CM3010M is the model number.
The very last one was sold on 05/05/1993 the last production was received November 1992.

The one you have was produced May of 1989. They were available in two versions. All black with no mirrors & mirrors (like yours) A dual version was also produced.

The lamps are available, however not on our parts site. You would have to call in to service. Model ZB-4405 12Volt GE sealed beam lamp.
Thanks! Thats just what I needed to know, everything still works perfect on it, It was just driving me crazy not knowing what its called. So its pretty much outdated and worthless? I'm sure me and a few friends will have fun with it in the garage.

I also have this huge,really heavy strobe light with wierd plug ins and controls on the back, Later tonight I will take some pictures of it and see if you can help me identify that also.

Thanks again!
