i found some really cheap "derby" lighting effects but they need new bulbs sockets in them. can i put the adj parts in from the avvenger part list ? or will it be different they take the same bulb

That depends on how old they are, some of the early stuff used tranformers and 12 or 24 volt bulbs. Check out our
online parts store and see if the sockets look the same

If they are cheap enough. What do you have to lose. If you can't get them to work....You can always eBay the fixtures, and recoop some of the loss.

another thought Even if they are the older version you could gut them out and make them 120 volt
