Yoo-hoo! What happened to the BNC light jacks on scratch mixers? On even some full-sized mixers they seem to be deleted.
Is it the money? It gets dark out there, man.
(dont count Rane, and other hi end $$$ ones)

Also for the old timers, whatever happened to
Furman, GLi, Cerwin Vega and MTX mixers?
I used to have a GLi PMX7000 and played
my promo white label 12" version of "Superfreak" to death while smoking a cigarette and drinking beer at my old club gig...--boy am I old!

If the guys at ADJ are even older---remember
when Astros was on 7th street and sold dj
equipment as a side line to fixing tv sets?

Well many people are using Rack mount power conditioners with lights, or something like those Raxxess LED light bars (I have both), or regular Gooseneck lights. It happens that maybe around 50% of the people were using the BNC lights, so most manufacturers can save a few dollars, therefore either adding other features to their mixers or lowering the price, which makes for happier customers.

Never used a Furman, GLi, or CV mixer, but I have used MTX (wasn't real impressed). It was decent however. Some of the old mixers I have used/currently own. Meteor Clubman Mixer the original 12" club mixer (circa late 70's). 2 bi-amp mixers one mid 80's, 1 late 80's. And my pride and joy's 2 UREI's. These tanks will never die.
