So i got the 48 inch black light and its been working great. I recently brought it with me to college and when I plugged it in for the first time here, the bulb flickered on for a second then went off. Now it will not turn on. Any thoughts as to why this is happening? Thanks.

Hi Panther123,

Did you check to be sure the lamp didn't wiggle loose in transit? I'm not sure if this fixture has a fuse, but if it does, check that too. If that doesn't fix your problem, make sure the power coming from the outlet is good and up to proper spec. If you don't own a tool to determine this just try plugging it into a different outlet, preferably in a different building.
