So I got my ADJ Par-38Bs in today and the bulbs that I also purchased from the same large online music distributor. They are great, and I can't wait to get started with them. But one question... Can I get bulbs with a narrower beam? These are a little wider than I had anticipated. I know I could use barn doors, but I'd rather not spend the cash on those if I could find a solution in the bulb. So is this possible?

flood bulbs only come in spot, and flood, and there isnt much difference. Barn doors are super, if you want to pay the price, but adding a donut to the light to make the width smaller works, but also decreases the light output.
*A Donut is a tin/sheetmetal square with a circle in it to sharpen beams on lights

You could buy a tophat or a snoot for it, but the price is probably just as much as the barn doors.

If your good with tinsnips, cut yourself a few sizes and test them out.
