This weekend my interface stopped working. When I plug in the USB cable the lights flashed intermittingly and then just the power light stayed on. Now the laptop is reporting an error message about an unrecognized device attached. The siudi drivers don't load.

What are my options? It's about three years old and out warranty. Does the new 2.0 dongle work with the old program? Can I purchase just the old dongle?

I have a show on August 31 and need to resolve this quickly.

Please advise.

Thanks James. yes tried all of that, different computer, different USB cable and tried reinstalling the software. According to ADJ tech support, they can't sell me an old interface, I don't have time for them to diagnose and fix and return in time for my next show. I'm forced to buy 2.0 and try to convert the 200+ shows to the new software by showtime August 31. I'm disappointed that ADJ can't resolve this by finding a way to sell me an old interface, or at least finding one in their dealer network that I could buy.
Hi Richard, re my post above I tried re-installing the software many times and on about 4 or 5 machines using all different versions of it from the oldest to the newest and also using different operating systems from w98 up to 7 and 32bit and 64bit. To be clear it should work on any of these from what I was told on here and what I read elsewhere.

the history was I plugged the 1st dongle in and it worked a few times then all of a sudden it stop responding roll on testing on some machines ect.. eventually I gave up and sent it back for a replacement dongle.. the next one arrived and exactly the same thing happened only this time I tried it on a brand new laptop windows 7 64bit again it worked a few times and then stopped ...back to the supplier .. they said they needed to test it to make sure it was faulty before they would send me yet another replacement eventually my 3rd dongle arrived with an apology from the supplier (DJKIT.com) explaining that the previous 2 dongles were faulty. I have had the 3rd one now for quite a while and fingers crossed it has been fine but to be honest I now always carry a hardware controller with me just in case.

You may be told to try numerous things to get it working, which to be far you should try (the main one is to install the software on a completely different machine and if it dont work then it is the dongle)... but it really sounds the same issues I had - hopefully its still under warrenty and you can get it replaced

good luck
