Aviator 32 with Analog Dimmers?

Is anybody using the Aviator 32 with analog dimmers? The manual says it's possible, but doesn't say much more than that.

The dimmers don't have DMX jacks, just DINs, and the Aviator has DMX inputs and outputs, and jacks that resemble serial ports..

Any idea how to make all this work together?
