Auto Spot 150 IRC-2 controller - modification

Hey folks
I am moving from some XP3s to Autospot 150's.

We use these for a band, so everything really needs to be run off foot switches.

Anyone have any ideas on converting the IRC-2 controller to a foot controller? I suppose you could get an IRC-2, gut it and mount it in a stompbox of some sort, replacing the finger "switches" with heavy duty "stompable" switches :-)

Anyone ever do something like this? Anyone want to take the project on for a price?

I would use a DMX foot controller (I have a B#h#i#g#r midi foot controller/DMX operator system that works VERY well) but I don't want to program the AS150, I just want to use the "auto" mode (and I don't see the ability to turn it to auto mode using DMX).

ideas?
