Over the last couple of months we added two intelligent lights and made the move from a Elation Stage Setter to a DMX Operator Pro. The Pro has been a blast to use for the intelligent lights and pretty good for our PARs...but I have a few more lights I would like to add for back and side lighting for the times we want a bit more of a concert look. We preset the scenes so the operator just has one button to push.

I don't want to put out cash until we see how everything pans out.

I see several options available, just wondered what your thoughts were on them.

1. Keep the Pro for the intelligent lights and put the Stage Setter in front/side of it.
(We don't have a lot of side to side space, so in front would be better but a bit of a reach)

2. Hook the PARs to the Stage Setter and buy a used Operator Pro or 192 to place behind the stage setter to minimize space.

After we get our lighting settled, would it be better to get one controller that handles both PARs and the intelligent lighting or one for each?

Thanks for your input, it is truly appreciated.
