traktor does not support 2 soundcards and you wont need it anyways.

you can use 2 midi controllers at the same time, though it sometimes can be cumbersome when 2 controllers are sending on the same channel, there might be some trial and error.

why dont you use the vms for deck c and d?
Hi - not sure why DJ Freshfluke thinks you'll be using 2 soundcards. The VMS4 already has 4 stereo out channels anyway so I am assuming you want to use these with a pair of ldp8 to control 2 of the channels.

I can't see any reason why this wouldn't work but as said a bit of trial and error to get the buttons mapped.

BUT - I can't see why you would need to as at the touch of a button you can swap the existing VMS4 controls for one channel to another. So lets assume you have one track on play out you can either have one control on that track and the other control for another track comming in or effects etc. OR you can have a track on play out and 2 other tracks being controlled into the mix and/or effects. Unless you are looking to manipulate all 4 tracks almost simutaniously you aren't going to need the extra midi contols. - If you are mixing that many effects then maybe you should look at somthing significantly more complex!!

Hope this helps.
