Hi, Everybody! I am a retired musician and am a newbie aboutlighting. I thought it would be cool to have a limited lighting set-up in my home practice area, just for ambience. So, I have two par64 LEDs (no heat), the Operator 192 controller, and the DMX Duo. The final light I would like would be one of the moving head scanning "eye-candy" lights, and I would like it to have pan/tilt, since the operator 192 has a pan/tilt control. Anybody have a suggestion as to which light would be best for my situation?

Thanks in advance, everybody! Newly

well i would suggest a perfromance scan 250 cause it is a second highest from adj of scanners. it has rotating gobo's and it can do split colorss well and strobe and pulse! i have one of these lights and it is def. eyecandy! here is a link to some pictures that i posted on the site FOR PICS CLICK HERE! u could also go with the accu scans or spots those are the more expensive ones though! what is your budget? sincerly jingles out! and welcome to the forum Big Grin Wink
Hey, Jingles ... and thanks for the reply. I was hoping not to spend over $300.00 ... I noticed the performance scan runs about $400.00, but it's effects do look nice! Also, for home use, I need to be careful I don't buy something that is so "powerful" that I keep blowing fuses, etc. Ha.

And, thanks for the welcome to the forum. I have learned a lot just reading the threads. Cheers. Richard
well i know a dealer in cali that can get u the perf. scan for under 400! but u have to pm me to get the name and stuff cause i can't mention it here! also the performance scan uses only 300 v.a. so on a 120 volt circuit it only takes 2.5 amps of power. and the led cans should take no more than 20 watts each! at my house i can run my led, my scanner, and controller for only 3 cents an hour! u should be ok. unless u have numerous other high wattage equipment on the same circuit! pm me and i will give u the info for my dealer! also did u checkout the pics? a couple more things. i too have the operator 192 with the joystick and i also have a p36 led can. but i only have one! and u shouldn't blow any fuses if you plug ur lights in to a power strip or surge protector. also it is reccomended to unplug ur lights during a electrical storm or you'll be sorry! jingles out!
