ADJ Snow Flurry

I just purchased an ADJ Snow Flurry. It has an On-Off switch and a remote with 3 buttons and 2 knobs. On the box, and in the literature, it talks about a "high/low" volume switch, which would apparently adjust the amount of snow or the size of the flakes. I have seen this switch on other models, but cannot figure it out. The buttons on the remote are for power, a timer, and manual snow. The dials are apparently for the timer and not volume. Any idea about the switch?
