Just know that with ADJ, you're NOT alone.

I have/had 8 64 LED Pros, covered under warranty. Barely had them 2 years. Recently discovered 3 having some issues. 1 light was really wierd, so Jingles advised me to video it and send it to him. A couple of days later I called support to get RMA's for the 3 lights. The tech I worked with was familiar with my case and was able to really save us BOTH a lot of time. The lights were sent in and have been received by ADJ.

Now, the competitor will remain nameless. With ADJ, they welcomed the item coming back for repairs. No drama, no grief, no hassle, no complaints.

Now, granted, I had some extra help from Jingles, but the point is that we're NOT in this alone. You have a support team behind you that SUPPORT their products. Can't beat that.

Now, I won't get my lights back for an event I really would like them for, but I have enough to make it work. I will have them back for an event later on in February, which is actually more critical time anyways. All I can say is that now it makes the Mega Panels I recently purchased even more critical and necessary to my lighting inventory.

Enough for now, I have a lot of lost data to recover from. I have like 12 DVD's to import to start doing editing with(I record events video/audio direct to DVD). A recent hard drive crash has really thrown things for a major loop.

Well, it's still Tuesday here where I am, but it's already Wednesday, so you can see 2 hours into my future. They did get the items today, all three.

They agreed with you on the daignosis of the one I sent the video for, but this is based on observation, not actually looking.

I'm anxious to know, mainly because I want to know if there is something I can do to AVOID this problem again in the future. I don't just want to send it off and then simply get it back repaired. Every problem needs to be a learning experience.

On my non-ADJ or Elation brand repair, they simply swapped out a board and sent it back. Sounds more like "oops, bad part...." Probably something I could have fixed myself. It's working, enough said.

Right now I'm already preparing for my back to back events on February 5 and 6. Both will use the same lighting load out(4 64 LED Pros and 2 Mega Panels), same mixer(Yamaha ProMix01) but one is a hip hop event, while Saturday is live music/solo act.
That would be Jason. I left a message for Ernie earlier in the day but he must have been helping other folks. I waited 90 minutes and called back and got Jason.

My main concern is that I'll be getting my lights back before I need them for my gig on February 27th. My events on February 5 and 6 can work fine with the simple lighting.
Cool.

First off, anyone with an RA, there is a new tool on the ADJ site so you can check the status of your RA. Input your RA and your zip code and you can see a status report.

I checked all 3 of mine, and I do have to agree with the initial external assessments. Considering the lights have seen a fair amount of use and the Arriba cases I've been carrying them around in aren't really an ideal solution for transporting these. I'm already looking into affordable case options that are durable as well as light weight.

Can't wait to get my lights back. 18 days before the big show, I start getting nervous when I am waiting for stuff to arrive.
