Is there a limit to the brightness of bulbs I can put in these little things? A competing brand seems to only recommend going up to 150 Watts, but I'm wondering what the American DJ versions can handle. A bulb distributor says he can give me 250 Watt bulbs for these. Can I do this? I'll be running them off of 120V dimmers that can give me 300 Watts per can if necessary.

While the socket is rated up to 600 watts, I would not recommend anything past 150 watts. the can gets very hot with this in it.
