ADJ Mega TriPar Profiles Plus, Sound Active Mode & Linked Up?

Hi Gareth,
In order for you to set up the Sound Active Mode via Master/Slave, or Primary/Secondary Mode, you will need to do the following:

1) Set up your Primary light, Master, to Sound Active Mode.
2) Connect a DMX Cable between the Primary and Secondary unit, the Slave, by going DMX Out of the Primary light and DMX In to the Secondary light.
3) Set your Secondary light to the DMX Mode setting, which should read "d.001".

Thanks Luis. I'll order the first light this week. Experiment with the sound active settings. There are apparently 16! Then I will order the second light and the DMX lead. I'll let you know how it goes for sure. I should have both lights in the next 3 or 4 weeks. Thanks again!

Right, I got the first light today, and to my disgust in the instruction booklet it says, well all sorts of scary things, warning of exposure to ultraviolet radiation, and so on, and avoid direct exposure at distances shorter then 3.3 metres! Needles to say this renders the thing bloody useless! Although it could be 3.3m away from us at band practice I wanted to experiment with the settings at home, in my bedroom, where needless to say I intended to be closer than 3.3 metres to it. Nothing about this was mentioned in any of the videos on YT. I was going to use a pair of these to make some budget music videos in our practice room but with all the health and safety warnings and various precautions required it's not worth it. Thanks for your help but I won't be taking this idea any further.

We understand your concern regarding the warning labels. The labels are there to warn users from being exposed to the UV LEDs for constant and long periods of time.

Thanks Luis, it doesn't give any advice on what is a “long period of time” and the way it reads it seems like it's warning you not to be near it all. I'll keep it in mind. I've still got the light. I've just put it back in its box and stuck it on top of a cupboard! I may be brave enough to play with it in the future! Thanks again.
