I just purchased the Encore FR150Z and I’m noticing the colour temp is 3000k, is there a way to change it to a 4000k temp? If so could you let me know what a where to get what I need to do so? Thanks

Hello, the Encore FR150Z has a 3K LED color temp, it is not adjustable in terms of color temp. only intensity via DMX and manual zoom adjustment. The specs on the product page would have outlined a variable color temp, if the unit supported that function, but it does not.

I know it’s a locked colour Temp but I’ve been hearing that with a gel lens I can accomplish a 4000 k colour, only thing is I don’t know the colour gel I would need.
Heyo, I would definately try some LEE 203 Gel. This is a Quarter CTB so i think this will raise the color tempertaure to exactly what you need. If its not blue enough, try the Lee 202 which is half CTB. Hope that helps!
