ADJ DJ Scan 250 EX w Show Designer 1

I have an LSC show designer 1. It shows the ol Scan 250 fixtures on the internal memory. I read the manual on 'adding' a new fixture, where I can modify an existing one, which I did. It worked A-OK on my DJScanEX fixture 1 (except for the gobo shaking), but on fixtures 2-4 it either reads the dmx channels backwords or out of dmx-order. Did I copy the fixtures on the SD1 incorrectly or is there an internal "invert" on it, or is it just user error? Maybe I need to update the software.. how do I do that (when I'm not that computer connection leterate)?? HELP!
