3d visualizer closing

i was going to mess around with different fixture placement but as soon as i touch a fader while in editor tab the 3d window closes. i've installed all updates on my pc and it is still acting up, has the happened to anyone/any suggestions? thanks.

That's weird. What version date is the my dmx software and the 3D software?

thanks for the response, i just figured it out. i somehow must of hit the "always on top button" without knowing it. i thought i tried all of that last night though...
