Reply to "Using Midi With MyDMX Go"

Hi I also received a little more info from one of the developers:

"The iPad version of the tablet app simply accesses the General MIDI info which is integrated in the iPad/iOS. There for there needs to be checks as to whether Apple actually allow MIDI over bluetooth, and also if the customers MIDI controller uses General MIDI as a protocol. And if that all does, then they may also need to remap their MIDI controller to send the correct notes which correspond with the app and that of the Akai APC MINI controller which it is currently configured for.
Unfortunately this is not something we have tested regarding bluetooth MIDI, so it would be trial and error for the customer."

Likewise with what you said in your last post, i think the main issue is you don't know what your MIDI is sending, and you need to have certain midi notes as you see in the manual for myDMX GO to get them to work, unfortunately we can't help you troubleshoot the midi device as it is not one of our products and we'd just be guessing. You should try to reach out to someone at the company either via phone or email and ask for those details.
