Right deck not working

So I've had the VMS4 for about a week and this is the third time I've brought it out. Each time I'll be going along, mixing and then out of nowhere the right deck does not respond to any button commands, jog wheel, nothing.

Have the latest firmware update for vms4 and a pro account. any help would be astronomical!!!

And on top of that had to start the show late because the sound wasn't coming through. had all the switches on usb, crossfader assigned correctly. RCA's plugged into the master output into an external mixer.

Current audio settings in VDJ is:
INPUT: NONE
OUTPUT: External Mixer (which i'm using)
SOUNDCARD: VMS4
